Reasons why you may not have received an alert for a calving:

  1. If your Moocall is not powered on (blue light should be flashing every 5 seconds)

  2. If your Moocall is not in cell coverage (try the Test SMS to determine this)

  3. An incorrect phone number is connected

  4. If your cow accelerated through late labour and calved quite quickly there may not have been enough activity to trigger an alert from your Moocall (typically in the case of an older cow)
