Getting updates for the MoocallHEAT system is easy.
As with our calving sensor, all software updates are done remotely through mobile network.
We push updates to your MoocallHEAT collar when it is plugged in to charge, and when the bull is 'inactive'.
This is when the bull has very low movement activity and isn't tracking any cows with potential heats. It can also happen when the bull is asleep or resting.
Because you don't have to plug the device in for updates this means there is as little handling as possible.
