Smart Lists automatically organise your animals based on their breeding status, helping you manage your herd more efficiently.
Smart List Categories
There are four main Smart Lists in the Moocall Breedmanager app:
In Calf
Cycling
In Heat
Inseminated
Animals move between these lists depending on the events recorded for them.
How to Add an Animal to a Smart List
Animals are placed into Smart Lists by recording events in their profile.
Steps
Open the animal’s profile
Scroll down to the Events section
Select one of the following options:
Add Weight
Add Calving
Add Heat
Add Insemination
Assume In Calf
Add Other
Once selected, the animal will automatically move to the corresponding Smart List.
Why Has My Animal Disappeared from a List?
Animals in the Moocall app are automatically moved between Smart Lists based on their breeding status and timelines.
For example:
If a cow is marked as Inseminated, after a period of time the app may assume she is in calf and move her to the In Calf list
So, if an animal is no longer in a list, it has not disappeared — it has simply been moved to another Smart List based on its status.
Tip: Keeping your animal events up to date ensures your Smart Lists remain accurate and useful for herd management.
