Step 1: Test the Sensor in the Area Where It Will Be Used
Turn the sensor on and wait until the LED light is flashing blue, which means the device is switched on and ready to operate.
Testing the device in the location where it will be used helps confirm that there is sufficient mobile network coverage.
Step 2: Trigger the Test Alert
To start a test:
Press the button firmly for half a second.
Release the button.
Press the button again immediately.
The button must be pressed twice within three seconds. It may take a few attempts to perform correctly.
Once successful, the sensor will begin flashing green, indicating that the test is in progress.
Step 3: Confirm the Test Messages
After triggering the test, you should receive:
An SMS notification
An email
A Moocall app notification
These alerts will be sent to all contact numbers connected to the sensor.
If You Do Not Receive the Test Alert
If you do not receive a message within 10 minutes, please check the following:
The sensor is flashing blue before the test
Your phone numbers are correctly registered
The sensor has network coverage in the area
If the issue continues, please contact Moocall support.
Why Testing Is Important
Testing your sensor helps ensure:
The device is working correctly
Your phone numbers are correctly registered
The sensor has sufficient mobile signal
We recommend performing a test before placing the sensor on a cow.
