Turning the Sensor On

To turn the sensor on:

  1. Press and hold the button for approximately 5 seconds.

  2. The sensor light will cycle through multiple colours.

  3. After a few seconds, the light will settle into a flashing blue light every few seconds.

A flashing blue light means the sensor is switched on and ready to be used.

Turning the Sensor Off

To switch the sensor off:

  1. Press and hold the button for approximately 10 seconds.

  2. The light will show a pink light before turning off.

Once the light turns off, the sensor has been successfully powered down.

Troubleshooting: Sensor Does Not Turn On

There are two different situations that may occur when trying to turn the sensor on:

1. You press the button and there are no lights at all

If the sensor shows no lights, this usually indicates a power issue.

Possible causes include:

  • The battery is completely discharged

  • Corrosion or damage in the charging port

  • Internal hardware failure

What to do

  1. Charge the sensor fully. Use different chargers and different outlets.

  2. Try turning it on again.

  3. Check the charging port for dirt, moisture or corrosion.

If there are still no lights after charging, please contact Moocall support.

2. The sensor flashes multiple colours and then switches off

If the sensor flashes several colours and then turns off, this usually indicates a connection or activation issue.

Possible causes include:

  • The sensor has not been registered yet

  • The sensor is unable to connect to the mobile network

What to do

  1. Ensure the sensor has been registered to your account.

  2. Move to an area with mobile network coverage.

  3. Turn the sensor on again.
